I scored one for Marwyn herself today: Glyph of Lay on Hands.
Increases the mana restored by your Lay on Hands spell by 20%.
I usually end up forgetting to use Lay on Hands until it’s too late (ie on the trip back to my poor corpse), but hopefully this and my constant reminders to use the damn thing will help.

WoW Insider has an article discussing what they think are decent reputation rewards for mages. Part I is currently up, Part II is on it’s way.
Read it here.
The entire Arcane Brilliance column might be of use in any case. It looks like Part II of their Levelling your Mage through Northrend articles is up as well.
Edit: Would you look at that? While we were all safely tucked up in our beds Part II of the reputation rewards articles was posted. Great timing!

Today I not only pushed Marwyn’s Inscription skill up to 350 (only to find she’ll now need Northrend herbs gorramit!), but I also learnt the elusive Glyph of Water Walking for Surloch.
Your Water Walking spell no longer requires a reagent.
I think it was in the guild bank for maybe 5 minutes before he whisked it out and locked it in. Yay for no more reagents!

Here’s a list of addons that have been updated recently. I update at different times to everyone else though so check against the addon spreadsheet I’ve set up and update your own tab.
Hadeen: There isn’t a tab for you yet, but once Surloch has finished setting up an interface with addons for you I’ll see if I can make a tab on the spreadsheet with a list of all the addons he’s currently using.

With Hadeen’s account reactivated I logged him in to see if the WoW 4th anniversary achievement & the Baby Blizzard Bear present was still being handed out and luckily they were.
Congrats Hadeen – it’s a Baby Blizzard Bear!

Got two new minor glyphs today since this is really yesterday’s Glyph of the Day & today’s as well due to yesterday’s sucessful procrastination session. Better late than never right?
Glyph of Unburdened Rebirth is another one for the druids (and naturally none of us play a druid except for altoholic me and even then it’s a once in a blue moon thing).
Your Rebirth spell no longer requires a reagent.
Essentially it’s very much like the glyph Surloch would like for his Water Walking spell only, sadly, for druids and not for shamans. Oh well, the glyph is out there somewhere and eventually I’ll have to discover it.
Today’s glyph is a hunter glyph which seems to be most suited to PvP: Glyph of Revive Pet.
Reduces the pushback suffered from damaging attacks while casting Revive Pet by 100%.
Definitely of use for PvP, but could also come in handy when you’ve bitten off more than you can chew.

Today’s attempt to learn a new minor glyph resulted in Glyph of Pick Lock.
Reduces the cast time of your Pick Lock ability by 75%.
Move along, nothing to see here, folks. It’s only usefulness seems to be in shaving a few minutes off lockpicking while you’re training it up.

Today’s minor glyph is for mages and since I’ve never played a mage for any significant period of time I have no real idea of it’s use, but the description tells me that:
You have an additional 5% chance to reflect Frost spells while your Frost Ward is active.
Sound exciting… No, really.
So there you go: Glyph of Frost Ward. Let me know if you want one and I’ll throw it in the Guild Bank.

Yes, I’m a tiny bit late, but in fairness I’ve been busy trying to set up this site and forgot all about it until reading WoW blogs over breakfast this morning. I’d also already posted about this on my own site so no wonder it slipped my mind.
Anyway, yes World of Warcraft is 4 years old as of yesterday-ish. With the time zones and server times it kind of worked out as part of Sunday night and half of Monday, but let’s just leave it at yesterday for the sake of my brain not hurting.
As a birthday present to all of us who have made Blizzard stinking rich, upon logging in any time over the course of that day you will receive an achievement:

and a Baby Blizzard Bear which will immediately threaten to drown you in cuteness:

Surloch and my various alts logged in and got the presents, and I logged in Marlokh so he’s covered as well, but unfortunately Hadeen missed out due to unexpected account expirage. I’m not sure whether it’ll show up in the mail anyway, possibly without the achievement, but I guess disappointment will depend on how much Hadeen really wants an adorable little bear that pretty near everyone else has.
I should mention that the bear is Bind on Account which means that once you’ve done the usual clicking on the item to learn the spell (which I did for Marlokh btw), the item will still be in your bags. Do not destroy it! Send it to a bank alt or stick it in your bank bags as any current or future characters on that server will be able to use it to learn the spell. It’s just like a Never-ending Gobstopper that you can pass around to your imaginary friends I suppose. Just not as gross.
